The Tigers Pen

I’ve been watching Dragons Den on the TV since it started and often wondered what it would be like to be stood in front of investors pitching a business and asking for funding.

Well yesterday I got the chance to do just that.

The Mid Sussex Business Expo 2019 run by NetXP had The Tigers Pen for the first time and IBF was selected to attend.

I’d normally be a nervous wreck when it comes to things like this but having perfected my elevator pitch by mentioning it to so many people since starting my business I went in to it with a hint of confidence and hoped for the best.

I took the Hydrus with all the accessories and was able to present it in the Pen which took center stage and had the Tigers and the audience drooling over it.

I managed to get everything I needed to say across in the very short time available and was ecstatic to get such great responses from all four Tigers with mentoring from two of them and prize funding from one of them.

With meetings with the two mentors planned and two or three options to discuss I’m really excited to see what they can offer to help the business going forward.
