Active noise cancelling for clearer calls
The M73 PLUS features bidirectional active noise cancelling that helps reduce background noise by up to 90%. That means you can be heard more clearly, and incoming transmissions are easier to understand when wind, surf or engine noise is competing for attention.
Loud audio and Bass Boost
A powerful internal speaker delivers loud 700mW audio output, while Bass Boost enhances lower frequencies for a richer sound profile on both transmit and receive.
6W transmit power
With up to 6W RF output power, the M73 PLUS is designed to provide extended communication range when you need it most.
IPX8 waterproof protection
Built for harsh marine conditions, the M73 PLUS offers IPX8 submersible waterproofing and is tested to survive immersion to 1.5m for 30 minutes.
VOX hands-free option
The radio supports VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) for hands-free operation using compatible optional accessories. VOX gain and delay are adjustable. Please note: compatible headsets and the required adapter accessories are not waterproof, and VOX may need enabling by your local Icom marine dealer.
