FISHING STRAND from a dingy, Shad smash and BIG Diamond Stingray.

Decided to take my little boat out among the reefs in Strand. Had a fun session catching loads of Shad / Elf by bait, spoon and topwater lure.

Biggest shad was over 40cm and we kept him for the pan, I used the head the next evening and was rewarded with an amazing Diamond Stingray.

My first and a fairly rare catch for my local waters.
